Full visual identity for an American alcohol brand who distills organic spirits right in heart of the Land of Enchantment. Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico - Nikle brings light to the timeless techniques of proper distillling and the American women who started a revolution.
The Client
An American alcohol brand who distills authentic spirits right in the heart of the Albuquerque, New Mexico. The brand's product has since been awarded a gold medal at the San Francisco International Spirits Competition.
The Challenge
As a new label entering the alcoholic beverage market, Nikle needed a brand that spoke to the story being told as well as the uniqueness and quality of the product.
The Strategy
The brand strategy developed to focus on the history of distilling and the role women played in crafting the spirits as well as the industry. By emphasizing their role, the brand reflects this throughout the designed touchpoints as well as the messaging and tone of the brand.
The Design
The aesthetics created harken to an era of early America. When the nation was the beacon of hope and freedom. The identity reinforces the women of the distilling history while also resembling the neoclassical design style and strong symbols found throughout history while paying homage to Demeter, the greek goddess of grain and agriculture.
The Creative Solution*
Implementing the brand strategy through all touchpoints created a cohesive brand that kept the main messaging of the story as the core. This foundation of brand/story allows for further development and exploration as the business grows into more retail, physical spaces, and additional beverage options.
